Love, love thinking back to Kelsey and Justin’s wedding! So elegant and such fun! The things that stood out to me? First, her lovely gown- I loved the lace embellishment. How much fun she and her bridesmaids had while getting ready; the love I felt in the room. Beautiful day with perfect weather. Justin’s expression when he saw Kelsey during their First Look and how sweet he was in soothing her nerves before the wedding. I love the personal things at weddings and her dad singing to them during the ceremony was so touching. And teary Kelsey’s hug for her dad when he’d finished. As for the celebration, did the dance floor ever empty? I don’t think so- well, maybe during dinner! Everyone danced the night away and sang along with the band during practically every song. Congratulations Kelsey and Justin! I loved being a little part of your special day.

{ Brooke + Joey • May 7, 2016 • The Tidewater Inn
It was such fun to shoot Brooke and Joey’s elegantly sophisticated wedding! While I’ve known Brooke’s mother and sister from days gone by(the Country School!), I had not known Brooke before she asked me to be her wedding photographer. What a great person, and, what a wonderful groom she has in Joey! They were fabulous to work with, always ready for anything. The Tidewater Inn looked lovely and once again reminded me that you don’t have to have water views to have a PERFECT wedding! In fact, there’s something so classy about an in-town wedding, especially if the town is Easton. St. Mark’s Church hosted their ceremony; I can’t even count the number of big smiles and hugs! Surrounded and supported by lovely friends and family, their whole day was an event that I’m sure they’ll cherish always. What a great way to begin their lives together!

{ Kaitlin + Brett • October 8, 2011 }
It’s fitting that Kaitlin and Brett got married in the fall, especially October, since this season has figured so prominently in their lives together. And pumpkins, being the darling of fall, also make grand appearances in their engagement and marriage, too. I think Brett’s inspired idea to propose to Kaitlin by carving “Will You Marry Me?” into a pumpkin is so fun and romantic and I know that Kaitlin was thrilled and surprised when she saw it glowing in her yard in the October twilight. Then he was down on one knee with the ring…how cool is that? They took this theme into their wedding with baby pumpkin place cards, a “Just Married” pumpkin greeted guests arriving at the Talbot Country Club for the reception, pumpkins held flowers by Amy of Monteray Farms whose dramatic centerpieces were free-flowing and lovely. Anyway, you get the picture- fun, romantic, unique and original- that’s how I think of their wedding. I was hoping that Brett’s furry, tail-wagging, 60 lb.(oh my gosh!!) black lab puppy Bailey would make an appearance but I guess that would have been a bit risky- so it’s better to picture them doing what they love best- long runs together or just and relaxing at home on the couch with Bailey!
