{ Laura + John • July 13, 2013 • St. Michaels, MD }

For a couple who wanted a nautical wedding, Laura and John sure chose a great Eastern Shore location for their wedding-  the picturesque and very much waterfront resort of Harbourtowne in charming St. Michaels, MD! Water surrounded them the entire day and into the night, too, as they were married on the resort’s waterside deck which after dinner became their dance floor! For a couple who enjoys being outdoors, sports, walks in Brandywine Park and such, it was a completely appropriate setting.

Surrounded by close family and friends, what began in Wilmington, DE, with a ring on one of their dog’s collars, a bended knee, was capped by their lovely wedding in Maryland.

After a getaway in Las Vegas, Laura and John plan a second trip in the fall to someplace “tropical”.

I was honored to be with them as they began their marriage and wish them the very best!

{ Becky + Jeff • July 12, 2013 • Kent Manor Inn }

I’m sure Becky and Jeff didn’t plan on rain on their wedding day. But, as so often happens in life, rain it did. But, they never missed a beat- they adjusted quickly and with the help of their wedding venue- the Kent Manor Inn- gears were switched, plans tweaked, and all went off without a hitch. The lovely Garden Room at the Inn became the spot where they said their vows, heartfelt and meaning-filled. Becky looked lovely in a beautiful gown. Jeff was debonaire in his wedding suit.

If I had to pick out something that stuck with me after being with them on their special day, it would be that these two have known each other since grade school. Many years passed since that time, of course but they “found” each other and the rest is history. Their spoken vows had every eye with a tear. I can’t say how much their love and commitment to each other was shown on their faces.

Best of luck, Becky and Jeff. I wish you many, many years together in love.

{ Christine + Nathan • July 1, 2013 • St. Michaels, MD }

How nice is a small wedding with only family there? That’s how Christine and Nathan chose to spend their wedding day. The Inn at Perry Cabin was a lovely backdrop for them. Christine’s lacy gown looked lovely on her as she walked to Nathan, escorted by her father. Nathan looked very debonair in his grey suit as he watched her come to him. After a short ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the elegant Miles Room.  I was so honored to be a small part of their special day.
