Tiffany and Shawn had a lovely wedding in St. Lucia in November ( which, weep-weep, they didn’t take me to!!) but they came home and had a wonderful December reception at The Oaks for family and friends. A fun party with good music, food and cheer. Julie Haines of JulieBakes topped my holiday season off with another fabulous cake and Amy at Monteray Farms again wowed us with her colorful and pretty centerpieces and bouquets. I loved working with this couple and since they were already married by the time I appeared on the scene, their day had a different “feel”, almost hard to describe but if I had to, I’d say it was relaxed and uncomplicated. I felt like Tiffany and Shawn were able to really be in the moment with all their family and guests- maybe because things were simpler. Everyone was there to celebrate this couple’s commitment to each other and they did so with tons of hugs and love!
