What a couple! What a wedding at The Oaks! It goes to show you that a wedding can be all anyone would hope forAND be peaceful and calm. AND FUN! We loved working with Virginia and Tommy- they are a class act. And their whole wedding party were the same. I loved that Virginia was so conscious of recycling that she bought her wedding dress second hand and her shoes on Poshmark! I loved that Tommy couldn’t find his underwear on his wedding day- don’t know how that ultimately was resolved!! In all cases, things just seemed to flow nicely. Sunny skies cooperated and stayed around, it wasn’t too hot, the musicians from the band provided a great background through the ceremony, cocktail hour and, of course, the reception. Virginia added some nice fashion drama by changing into a more dance-friendly outfit after the dinner hour and to tie it all together, surprise fireworks lit up the night after dark! How cool is that?!!

Allison + Brandon | Waterfront Wedding at The Oaks | 7.13.19
Fun and more fun- love and more love! This charming wedding at The Oaks Waterfront Inn in Royal Oak, MD hit all the right notes. From Allison’s lovely, lacy dress to her gorgeous flower arrangements and bouquet, to cute and fancy “guy” socks, the wedding was perfect! There was even an artist who painted a “reception” portrait for the lucky couple, a surprise well-appreciated, I’m sure, a gift from one of their thoughtful guests. Allison and Brandon will have sweet memories of all the wonderful, light-hearted, tender and funny moments from their waterfront wedding. And Brandon’s brother deserves a shout-out for having one of the funniest and coolest Best Man speeches ever, in my humble opinion! Congratulations Allison and Brandon on your fabulous wedding!

Pamela + Joshua | 9.29.18 | Easton, MD Wedding
Why do I always remember the dress? Good or bad, it’s the one thing that stays consistent in my wedding memories- the dress. And so it was with Pamela’s dress, elegant, lacy and perfect for her. Getting dressed at a Talbot County historic manor house, Perry Hall, wasn’t too bad either and that set the stage for the entire day.
We didn’t see Josh until he arrived at the church so his debut was marked by fun photos with his groomsmen as well as more traditional fare.
After a moving ceremony, the group returned to the manor for group shots, some of which included cute sun-costumed family members. Then the couple, family and wedding party headed to the reception at the Milestone in Easton.
Josh and Pamela had a surprise for everyone up their sleeves- a mariachi band! As they were serenaded, Pamela and Josh took their turn on the dance floor to everyone’s cheers. Their evening ended with a sparkler send-off into their new lives together as husband and wife.
Thank you Pamela and Josh for allowing us to be a small part of your wonderful day!
And ….congratulations!!
