Kacey and Bobby wanted to do their engagement pictures at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. They loved the Eastern Shore feel of the site and the water views. When we were there, the museum was having an event, The Maritime Model Expo. The models were so fun and incredibly intricate for their size. We had a lovely evening and covered the entire property for our session. Afterwards, they were off to a yummy Eastern Shore dinner with their parents. Such fun!!

{Kacey and Bobby- Wedding Coming this Summer- August 20th at The Oaks}
{Meghan and Justin~Vintage Engagement}
Meghan and Justin wanted to have an experience for their engagement session so I suggested they choose a “theme” to build their session around. They decided to have some fun with “vintage travel”. Luckily, I have a friend who owns an antique bus, circa 1947. It is a “Californian”, coming as it did, from the old Paramount Studios lot. It has some pretty cool history as it’s the bus that is in the opening scene of “Key Largo” with Humphrey Bogart, who actually gets out of the bus as the movie opens. Also, do you remember “North by Northwest” with Cary Grant running thru the corn field? Well, he got out of this bus before running thru the field!! So, we were pretty psyched when we got to use it as our “backdrop”. Meghan and Justin had a good time and we got some great shots. Such a great idea to use a theme. The ideas just flow from that like water!!
{Kaitlin and Brett~Wedding at Sts. Peter and Paul and Talbot Country Club ~ October 8th}
Oxford was perfect for this Eastern Shore couple!! First, a great summer evening with a warm, golden sun for our light. After the park, we strolled the Strand and other environs. These two obviously have such fun together and it shows in their pics. They were game for all my suggestions and ideas and loved the cool waters of the Tred Avon, which they gladly waded into. Can’t wait for their fall wedding!!
