Namita + Nick | St. Michaels Wedding on the Patriot | 06.09.18

What a wedding! What a blending of two wonderful families! Even a few raindrops couldn’t dampen the celebration for these two lovebirds. Namita and Nick were one of the sweetest couples we’ve worked with, and their pure joy at becoming husband and wife was such a treat. With the Patriot as a nautical backdrop and after saying their vows, everyone enjoyed a delicious Garden and Garnish dinner, they danced the night away along with family and friends. Congratulations Namita and Nick!

{ Edna + Michael • November 18, 2017 • The Tidewater Inn }

I love a good love story! And Edna and Michael embody the very best of any good love story- the prince and princess find each other and fall in love. Ok, I know that may be a little silly but isn’t it wonderful to find inspiration in two people who choose to spend their lives together? Maybe it’s just me, but seeing the love and joy on Edna and Mike’s faces as they went through each part of their wedding day made me feel head-over-heels great! From Edna’s lacey blush pink wedding dress to Mike’s ever-present smile, to their family and friends’ warm hugs and congratulations, it was a wonderful wedding day!

The Tidewater Inn provided a lovely canvas for the affair, overseen by the creative eye of planner extraordinaire Kari Rider. Tables adorned with gorgeous floral arrangements greeted and wowed guests. A stunner of a dessert table starring a multi-tiered cake surrounded by yummy treats by master chocolatier JuneBsweet was the focal point of the room. I say that the desserts were the focal point, but really the stars of the show were Edna and Mike- as happy a couple as I’ll ever see. Congratulations to you both!

{ Jennie + Rob • October 14, 2017 • Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay • Maryland Waterfront Wedding }

This just in from Lander, Jennie and Rob’s furry friend:

My pawrents are married! I’m so happy I think I almost wagged my tail off! And, I got to come see them for a few minutes right before the afternoon festivities began. I was even in some of their pictures! And I got a few treats along the way, too!

Here are my favorite memories:

  • the ceremony was so full of meaningful moments. I loved how there were smiles through tears and lots of hugs and kisses. I love hugs!
  • The Hyatt Chesapeake was nice to let me come to see my pawrents when they did their family and wedding party shots. I wanted to stay all day and all night but I couldn’t.
  • My favorite bride, Jennie, looked so amazing in her wedding gown! She and I both like little surprises and the lavender tulle that peeked out from her skirt was such fun. My favorite groom, Rob, was so debonair in his fancy suit. Everyone thought Jennie and Rob were the cat’s pajamas (I just had to say that)!
  • Even though I wasn’t there at the reception, I know it was special because everyone was in the mood to celebrate. I heard people say afterwards that the cake was spectacular and I was even in the cake topper as a little wooden figure! How cool is that? And they had such a pretty spot waterside at the Hyatt! They made the party even more special with a cigar bar and some fun lawn games and pretty furniture that I would have loved to take a little nap on if I’d been allowed.

Anyway, I’m so proud of my pawrents- they had a wedding day that makes me do my happy dance!
