This just in from Lander, Jennie and Rob’s furry friend:

My pawrents are married! I’m so happy I think I almost wagged my tail off! And, I got to come see them for a few minutes right before the afternoon festivities began. I was even in some of their pictures! And I got a few treats along the way, too!

Here are my favorite memories:

  • the ceremony was so full of meaningful moments. I loved how there were smiles through tears and lots of hugs and kisses. I love hugs!
  • The Hyatt Chesapeake was nice to let me come to see my pawrents when they did their family and wedding party shots. I wanted to stay all day and all night but I couldn’t.
  • My favorite bride, Jennie, looked so amazing in her wedding gown! She and I both like little surprises and the lavender tulle that peeked out from her skirt was such fun. My favorite groom, Rob, was so debonair in his fancy suit. Everyone thought Jennie and Rob were the cat’s pajamas (I just had to say that)!
  • Even though I wasn’t there at the reception, I know it was special because everyone was in the mood to celebrate. I heard people say afterwards that the cake was spectacular and I was even in the cake topper as a little wooden figure! How cool is that? And they had such a pretty spot waterside at the Hyatt! They made the party even more special with a cigar bar and some fun lawn games and pretty furniture that I would have loved to take a little nap on if I’d been allowed.

Anyway, I’m so proud of my pawrents- they had a wedding day that makes me do my happy dance!

  1. Hi Melissa!!

Very beautiful photos!!! I came upon your site on my google search of weddings in october at the Hyatt Cheseapeake Bay. I have two questions. One is about your availability for October 10-12 2019 and your pricing for photography for a full day on Saturday, and Thursday and Friday evening pre wedding events. The second question is slightly unrelated but we are looking into this venue around the exact time the wedding was and I wanted to ask about the weather. We would like to have an outdoor wedding as well and I know the temperature can vary from about 50-70 during that time. Was it comfortable during the ceremony and reception or did you feel it was too cold?
    Your insight is much appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Thank you so much!

    Warm regards,
    Shivali
